It seems ridiculous, but I had my pre-op appt. yesterday. Preop, surgery, post-op. Pre-op, surgery, post-op. I'm caught up in a vicious cycle :) My laparotomy is on Tuesday. I'm getting pretty nervous, but I'm hanging in okay.
In crazy news, my best friend is 29 wks. pregnant. She has a three year old daughter. At her 20 wk u/s she found out she was having another girl. This week, she had an u/s to check her fluid level, and they found a PENIS!!! She's having a boy! We are all so excited for her, but she's got a lot of stuff, including a pink carseat, to take back!
We put Parker, our toy poodle, in our pop up pool over the weekend and he loved it! He just swam circle after circle.

The dog has really become my "baby".

Your baby Parker looks so cute swimmin. I'm sure it was a nice to get out and cool off.
I will be praying for a successful surgery. Hopefully this one will be the last one so you can get knocked up already. :) IVF is such an amazing journey. Personally, I have never done it, but I have a group of friends that have. And 3 of the 5 now have twins. I would LOVE to say the same for you too one day.
That is so funny that your BFF just found out she's actually having a boy. I was worried about the gender of our litle one changing, but we for sure see a "package" there a couple of times. Years ago my mom's BFF was told she was having a girl, and gave birth to a baby boy. She had 3 ultrasounds total, and they never saw a penis. It was kinda sad that she had spent so much on this beautiful nursery, she even had an artist come in and paint a murial. It was quite the surprise when dr said, "Its a Boy."
Take care,
Jennie
I just wanted to stop by and wish you luck on tomorrow's surgery. I hope all goes well,(I'm sure it will) and I look forward to a positive update once you've recovered enough to get online.
My prayers are with you.
Good Luck!
Jennie
